Eminem addresses Snoop Dogg beef, gives props to his humour.
Ahead of the 2022 NFL Super Bowl Halftime show performance with Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and Snoop Dogg, Eminem appeared on Shade 45 for a virtual interview with Sway Calloway. In the interview, the Detroit rapper talked about the upcoming “nerve-wracking” halftime show, production from Dr. Dre and more.
“Snoop’s star has never stopped rising,” said Sway. “This dude is incredible how he transformed and evolved as an artist, as a human being in general and the lot of things he’s doing as a businessman.”
“And he’s in every other commercial,” responds Eminem. “Every other commercial I see, like can’t escape him. It’s great that he made himself still be relevant to this day, since 1991-92, that crazy.”
Eminem was also asked if he sat down with Snoop Dogg for a conversation. “Not really, but just you know f**kin around on stage in rehearsals and sh*t,” he said. “Me and Snoop are good. We talked months ago, made peace, and realised that nobody should beef within their own camp.”
He continues, “Snoop is Snoop man, I always say this about him, he literally can be a f**kin stand-up comedian. He’s so f**kin funny, that sh*t he did with the Animal planet. He’s like that constantly when you’re around him. It’s constant, it never stops.”
